33 Hostel is a independent and locally run, and as such you will get the personal touch not found in big chain hostels, with a unique family atmosphere that will make you feel right at home. Perfectly located in the center of Ferrel, near the beautiful beaches of Almagreira, Pico da Mota and Baleal, it's an ideal place to surf or just chill and enjoy the sun. We organize homemade family dinners, pub crawls and group trips to nearby towns and attractions, and are always available to provide assistance and advice to our guests.

How to get to 33Hostel ?

⚠️ Peniche train station is 15km away so it is more convenient to come by Bus ⚠️

NOTE: There are always daily buses from Lisbon, Porto or other cities to Peniche

Bus companies to get to Peniche: rede-expressos.pt/en and global.flixbus.com

🆕 There are direct daily BUS from Lisbon Airport to Peniche🆕

Flixbus 10:40am (we give you 10% off voucher) and rede expressos 08:05am and 10:15am.

Peniche Terminal BUS (not city center) to Ferrel:

- Monday to Friday - 12:30, 13:20, 16:50, 17:15 and 18:30 cost €2 Uber/Bolt €6 to €8 Taxi €11 to €14

- Saturday and Sunday - Uber/Bolt €6 to €8 Taxi €14 to €16 (In August there is a bus: Peniche to Ferrel (Beach Bus €1,10)

The best hostel we stayed at in Portugal. Maura and Paulo are welcoming and very accommodating. They have created a very fun environment and are keen to offer suggestions for local spots to eat, surf, and hangout. The hostel is immaculately clean and very well designed. They offer a great deal on surf rentals + transport too and from the beach. The kitchen and common areas are well equipped and fun to hangout in. Stoked to go back as soon as possible!!

I’ve stayed in plenty of hostels all around the world and 33 Hostel is definitely one of my favourite ones! The atmosphere created by Paulo and Maura is amazing, rooms standard is very high, location is perfect if you want to surf. Internet is great and I had no troubles when I had to sit down and work. Highly recommend!
